In a small town called Bethlehem, God stepped into the world He created. The eternal Word took on flesh. Jesus came to save man from sin.
The birth of Christ reminds us that God keeps His promises. For centuries, Israel waited for their Messiah. He would be One who would rescue His people, bring peace, and establish righteousness. When Jesus was born, that long-awaited promise was fulfilled, not with royal splendor, but with humility. A manger became a throne, shepherds became witnesses, and a virgin born baby became the Savior of the world.
The Christmas narrative is not merely a story to admire but a message to receive. Jesus did not come only to be admired in a nativity scene; He came to save sinners, to reconcile humanity to God, and to bring light into the darkness. He came to heal broken hearts and restore fallen lives. His birth points forward to His mission: to live a sinless life, to die on the cross, and to rise again so that all who believe might have eternal life.
At Christmas, we rejoice not just because a child was born, but because a Savior was given. In a world still marked by fear, conflict, and uncertainty, Christ remains our hope, our peace, and our joy.
Merry Christmas!
